The monsoon is movement around the globe. It is the power of natural elements such as wind, water and earth. It is cyclical in bringing change and stability, desolation and at the same time life. The human being experiences a similar phenomenon throughout his existence. Its body, in a continuous change of cyclical phases, becomes an instrument of destruction and creation. Monsoon is a show that combines taiko art, dance and electronic music, reflecting on the relationship between human being and nature and the emergencies of the environment and climate. The Italian-Japanese choreographer Masako Matsushita gives life to a choreography for three dancers who aspires to deeply touch the spectator's sensitivity through the power of movement, the vibrations of music and the relationship with taxture material.
